Where all our ladiesssss at?! Looking to plan the most EPIC bachelorette weekend ever? You’ve come to the right place because our very own darling’s bach weekend was one for the books. We’ve got all the cutest restaurants, hoppin’ bars, hilarious activities and local wineries listed below for all our soon to be married ladies!
TO STAY –
We rented the most incredible two story house for 10 of Aubrey’s bridesmaids. Located in the heart of the Funk Zone, the house was only a 5 minute walk from all the best wine tasting spots and restaurants. Our house decor was a mix of West Elm + Anthropolgie. It was to die for + we wanted to steal everything to bring back to our apartment… Don’t worry, we didn’t. However, you can find other great houses to rent on websites like:
AirBnB
Zillow
VRBO
ACTIVITIES –
Whale Watching / Sailing: What could be better than sailing around Santa Barbara with your best friends and sippin’ from pineapple cups? Seeing whales + dolphins jump beside your boat while doing it!
Yes, that is a face mask of Aubrey’s soon to be fiance! We have never laughed so hard.
Wine Tasting: Head on over to the FUNK ZONE. Yes, this is a real place and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like! A place to drink wine + get funky with your girlfriends. Here are some suggestions on places to go:
1. The Valley Project – Super fun environment, big chalkboard to write on!
2. Kunin Wines – Has great rose and is the perfect stop for the girls!
3. Santa Barbara Wine Collective – has 6 different wineries so the girls can all choose a different place to taste from
Dance Class: When do you ever get the chance to have a slumber dance party with your best friends from kindergarten through college? Take advantage of girl time + stay in one night! We hired Allure Dance from Los Angeles to come teach a chair dancing / strip tease class + it was a HOOT. Get some drinks in your system and you’ll be dancing on a chair like a pro in no time. Warning: videos may surface on the internet…
Scavenger Hunt: WARNING – this could get fiesty + you might not want to start the competition during dinner! If you are interesting in having us make you something similar for your bachelorette party, send us a quick message at thedetailsdarling@gmail.com
And don’t forget Pin The Lips On The ****: RATED R – but it’s a bachelorette party… You’ve got to be a little naughty.
RESTAURANTS –
Finch + Fork: Perfect for that Sunday brunch after you’ve had too much fun the night before! The ultimate remedy for that bachelorette weekend hangover. Bottomless mimosas + french toast that is to die for.
The Lark: Super cute restaurant, definitely be willing to spend some $$$
The Lucky Penny: After a long day of wine tasting, pizza + more wine is calling your name! This pizza hits the spot. Yes, we all ordered our own and yes, we ate every slice.
Case Blanca: A great Mexican spot for pitchers of margaritas and delicious tacos!
Wishing we could relive this weekend all over again! Let us know if you end up taking any of these suggestions + we’d love to see photos of you and your bach squad! Below is the itinerary we sent out to the girls, enjoy darlings!
