Q: Give us your best “15 second elevator pitch” on who you are!
A: Happily Ever Etched is 1 part custom etching and laser cutting experts and 1 part ultimate gift boutique! We want to inspire individuals to give gifts with meaning– Starting with a bright and fun space then adding all the right elements in between! We have carefully curated everything from stationery, home decor, stylish office accents, baby & doggy accessories, wedding decor & gifts, natural beauty products, bar ware and more!
Q: Where did the idea for Happily Ever Etched come from?
A: Happily Ever Etched came from the idea of receiving a gift so unique and special that it will be forever “etched” in your memory. We also specialize in wedding gifts and decor so the “Happily Ever” only felt perfectly fitting!
Q: Your company focuses on featuring not only your own work, but local artisans! What is your #1 advice for small businesses owners?
A: If it’s something you’re absolutely passionate about— just go for it! We’re believers that anything can be done if you want it enough. Passion and drive will take you a long way. Just follow your gut and be prepared to take risks, accept that some things may not work out the first time but learn from those mistakes and keep on going! Onward and Upward!
Q: You’re attending a party/event. What small details do you seem to notice first?
A: Small details are exactly the thing we notice! We are always drawn to signage first then any favors or “custom” items.
Q: Best advice you’ve received and why it stuck with you for so long.
A: Always set a goal for yourself, set it high and make a plan as a goal without a plan is just a wish!

Q: What is something you wish you knew before you started your own business?
A: How important networking is! It was something that we always heard was important and good for business— but I think part of us never really knew how to network and it doesn’t help that we are both introverts so the thought of putting ourselves out there to talk to strangers was terrifying! But we have worked on this and this year we have really made some amazing connections!
